Gregory Herkert D.D.S., F.A.G.D. : Dentist. (Owned and operated the practice since 1989)
Creating beautiful, healthy smiles on the Oregon Coast has been enjoyable since 1989. This area is a wonderful place to practice and raise a family. I am truly grateful for my patients, my staff, and my family.
Sheryl Woods, our wonderful office manager for 21 years, is retiring at the end of 2011. Kelly Walker will be taking her position.
Kelly Walker: Office manager, financial coordinator, insurance billing. (Has been with the practice since 2011)
I am so excited to join this team in October of 2011! I intend to continue the tradition of excellent care in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. It is critical for me to work in an office where the patient comes first, and Dr. Herkert and his staff are an ideal fit for me. I bring many years of experience in dental management/consulting and I can help our patients maximize their insurance, customize treatment plans, and of course assist with finance options.
I have a BFA in Creative Writing and am working on a book about disabled animals. Otherwise, I enjoy hiking with my dogs, skiing, traveling and cooking.
Chris Lawrence: Scheduling coordinator. (Has been with the practice since 2001)
I enjoy the sounds and laughter, nature, music, and Harley Davidsons. Family and friends are of utmost important to me; and helping others smile completes my day. I'm very spiritual and I love life.
Cynthia Eshleman CDA: EFDA Assistant. (Has been with the practice since 1994)
I grew up in Newport. I have been working in the dental field since 1987. I enjoy the people I meet and help in the dental office. Away from work I spend time with my family and friends.
Shonda Oleman CDA: EFDA Assistant. (Has been with the practice since 1990)
I was born and raised in Toledo. I enjoy walking, camping, volleyball, and spending time with my family. I am fortunate to have only worked with Dr. Herkert my entire dental career as he is a caring and ethical employer and doctor.
Linda Oleman: EFDA Assistant. (Has been with the practice since 1999)
I love spending time with family and friends, attending church, and reading books. I'm an avid scrapbooker and teach scrapbook classes in our local area. I love being part of a truly talented dental team and seeing the positive results that are accomplished when we work together with our patients.
 Linda Cameron RDH: Hygienist. (Has been with the practice since 1998)
When I graduated from High School here in Toledo, I never thought I would remain in the area that I grew up in. Here I am with over 10 years under my belt with Dr. Herkert, and I can't imagine working anywhere else. What a privilege it is to feel so connected to the community and provide a needed service. I feel very fortunate to be part of this team. When I am not at work I enjoy travel, spending time with my family, and riding my motorcycle.
Sharon Tattersall RDH: Hygienist. (Has been with the practice since 2010)
Though I am new to the Oregon Coast I was born and raised in Oregon. I moved away for 9 years. During that time I finished my BGS in Arts & Humanities along with my AS in Dental Hygiene from Indiana University. Graduating top of my class with highest honors was a great accomplishment for me. Before returning to Oregon I spent 4 years in Colorado. I enjoy spending my free time swimming, visiting Southern Oregon, and playing with my dog's, Avatar & Dakota. I am learning that living on the Coast means taking advantage of every once of sunshine. I am very fortunate to have found such a wonderful Doctor and staff to work with and hope to spend many years making this area my home.
Keith Herkert: Assistant, Website Designer. (Has been working at the practice during the summers since 2005)
I have worked at the office during the summers for many years and have learned so much. I have applied and plan on attending dental school (hopefully in Portland at OHSU).
